RNDIS is a class driver that allows embedded devices to connect to hosts over USB and to appear as a standard network card. This driver includes a virtual Ethernet driver to allow easy integration with our TCP/IP stack, or other Ethernet driver interface.

Once connected to the USB host device (typically a PC) the embedded device appears as a standard network card to the host.
